Student Name: Chris Mitros Grade: Grade 10 Artist Statement: This is about addiction, the effects it has on people and their bodies. The bloody, fleshy tones and body parts on the tea cup show how addiction grasps its host keeping them in a chokehold. The intestines saucer looks dirty and abused, showing the effects of what addictions do to one's physical and psychological state. The broken bloody bottle shows how it feels to break free of an addiction.

The Shining Road Ahead

I took the photo with a slow shutter speed which gave me time to draw around the car with a flashlight. Glorious Purpose

I chose to use a “fluid” motion with the background which connected to the hand placement and energy source in the center.
